10/10/10
October 10, 2010

It is on this auspicious date that I welcome to what’s left of the planet my as yet unnamed number six niece. Thinking of her potentiality, it’s hard to tell: inherited ordeal or whatever being? The signs are depressing, but I’d have to be some jerk of an uncle not to grant her anonymous infancy. Who knows; maybe, having been born on the date of the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything, she might work out what the question is? Anyways … this song is for her.
